Yellowknife Public Library

I went to the library today to work on some stuff, but when I started going over what I had to do I quickly realized that I didn't have a lot of what I needed to actually do it. So I did what I could and then got lost in books. I started reading Francis Collins' The Language of God. It's about how a head of the Human Genome Project went from being an atheist to a Christian, discovering God and how science and faith can co-exist. I've read the first 30 pages and I want to finish it. As soon as I get a piece of mail so that I can get a temporary library card I will. Then I explored the rest of the library and took note of other books I want to rent...I don't think the summer will be long enough. Why did I even bother bringing any books of my own?

  1. I LOVE libraries :) That sounds like a really interesting book sweety - I love those stories when people who were completely against the idea of any God come to find God through the one thing they think makes them better than God... LOVE IT! You'll have to tell me all about it in the fall and if it's a "worthy" book to read.... although I feel like it will be :) thanks for all the updates! you rock and enjoy the rest of your week love <3

  2. have you got a piece of mail yet? I needed to get some actual ID here before I can get a library card. I now have my BC Driver's License so tomorrow I am headed for the library!
